About the Dial-A-Ride Service
Dial-A-Ride (DAR) provides curb-to-curb van service to residents of the Antelope Valley who live within the Los Angeles County area. In these areas, DAR is only available to seniors and disabled persons. AVTA DAR provides rides for people who are certified as eligible for Para-transit services under the rules listed below.
• Persons who are unable to navigate the fixed route system.
• Persons whose disability makes it impossible for them to travel to or
from the nearest bus stop.
• Any qualifying condition listed in the eligibility application.
If you believe you have a physical or mental disability (including mobility or cognitive impairments) that prevents you from independently using our ADA accessible fixed route bus service, complete and return the Eligibility Application to AVTA.

Once eligiblity is determined a photo I.D. will be issued which will be required to use the service.
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday…….....6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday…...8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
