How to Read the Schedule
If you are riding our bus for the first time, or if you are planning a trip to a new place, welcome! Here is what you need to know:
1. Use the system map to locate your start and
end points and to find the bus route that will take you where
you want to go. For some trips, you will have to use more than one bus.

2. Once
you know which bus routes you will be using, click on the time
schedule for that route.
3. If
you need help planning your trip AVTA customer service representatives

How to Read the Maps and Timetables
The top of the timetable for Route 11 eastbound is shown below as an example. Numbers in circles show things on the timetable that are explained below.

(1.) The route number is shown at the top of each schedule.
(2.) The major streets along the route are next to the route number.
(3.) The direction and destination of the bus are on the second line.
(4.) Major bus stops are listed across the top of the schedule. There are additional bus stops between these major stops along the route.
(5.) The body of the
schedule shows the times throughout the day that a bus will be at the stop.
You can read down the columns to find the time that is most convenient for your
trip, and you can read across the rows to follow the movement of the bus as
it travels on its route. For example, the trip leaving Lancaster City Park at
7:15 AM will arrive at 30th Street East and Tierra Bonita Park at 7:55 AM.
