National Get on Board Day

Help create awareness about public transportation!

Save the date and join the AVTA as we participate in the American Public Transportation Associations’ national Get on Board Day on April 16th, 2020.

Get on Board Day is a new national awareness and advocacy day that is all about generating awareness of and increasing support for public transportation.

AVTA will be providing local transit service for free all day and staff will be showing up at local transfer centers through out the day to hand out stickers, promotional items, and information flyers about the many benefits of public transportation.

Starting October 2026, the AVTA lobby will no longer be open the last Saturday of the month for pass sales. the lobby will be open until 8:30pm on the last Friday of the month, and every last Friday of the month moving forward.
