AVTA christens newest bus, a battery-electric commuter coach

AVTA Chairman of the Board Marvin Crist, Vice Chair Dianne Knippel, and fellow AVTA Board Members, Steve Hofbauer, Richard Loa, and Raj Malhi, joined with Macy Neshati, CEO and Executive Director of AVTA, Lee Kemp from MCI, and Kathy MacLaren, AVTA Board Alternate for the City of Palmdale, to christen AVTA’s newest bus, an MCI D45 CRTe LE CHARGE battery-electric commuter coach.

This zero-emissions, high-capacity commuter coach is the first in a fleet of 24 battery-electric commuter coaches that AVTA has ordered from MCI.
