UPDATE: More Commuter Routes Start Monday June 17, 2024

Antelope Valley Transit Authority announced that starting on Monday, June 17, 2024, additional commuter runs will be added to the temporarily reduced commuter schedule. This commuter service travels to downtown Los Angeles, Century City, San Fernando Valley, and the TRANSporter to Newhall. This includes routes 785, 786, 787, and 790.

To clarify, the temporary suspension of commuter service did not involve or affect AVTA’s fleet of BYD zero-emission battery electric buses or the agency’s local service. 

Starting Monday, June 17, 2024, AVTA is adding one additional run to Route 785 and Route 787. This brings the service to six buses on Route 785 and six buses on Route 787. No additional changes have been made to Routes 786 and 790 Transporter, as they currently servicing all regular scheduled runs. AVTA recommends carefully planning your commute using the following modified commuter schedule.
